Dr. Isaacs will be speaking on Nutrition and Weight loss at an event
hosted by The Sister to Sister - Everyone Has a Heart Foundation,
Inc.®
WHAT:
Hosts the National Woman's Heart Day health fair, a high-energy,
interactive event with free heart-health screenings, fitness and
cooking demonstrations, educational seminars, dozens of exhibits,
and prize drawings and giveaways. The heart-health screenings are
quick, easy and done by licensed health care professionals with
on-site results and counseling.
WHEN:
From 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2005, the third
Friday in February, officially declared National Woman's Heart Day
by Tommy G. Thompson, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

WHY:
--To increase awareness of heart disease among women
--To screen for heart disease risk factors
--To encourage healthy lifestyles among women of all ages, races
and socioeconomic backgrounds
Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United
States, and yet there are many steps women can take to reduce
their risk. Women can get a regular heart-health screening, stop
smoking, increase their physical activity and adopt a healthy diet.

The Sister to Sister - Everyone Has a Heart Foundation, Inc.®
is the only national organization that focuses solely on women's
heart disease screening and prevention. Sister to Sister hosted
the first National Woman's Heart Day health fair in Washington,
D.C., in 2001. The 2004 National Woman's Heart Day health fairs
were held in six cities. In 2005, the health fair will be held in
12 cities nationwide. These cities include: Atlanta, Baltimore,
Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York,
Philadelphia, St. Louis and Washington, D.C. For more information
