Rachel Petraglia
Health Educator
Rachel grew up in Lawrenceville Georgia and attended college in Miami , Florida at Johnson and Wales University . There she earned her Bachelor's of Science in Culinary Arts. Over the next six years Rachel's culinary accomplishments have included working in 4-star restaurants, helping create and publish a cookbook, and being recognized as a Star of the South by South Magazine. One of the highlights of her career was being interviewed by Al Roker on the Today Show. Through her experiences, Rachel quickly became passionate for using her culinary education to teach nutrition.
Rachel relocated to Atlanta in December of 2007 to be closer to her family. She joined Intelligent Health Center as a Health Educator in January 2008. Rachel is extremely dedicated to nutrition and motivating others to reach their health and weight loss goals. She believes that a healthy diet and lifestyle improves a person's overall health and life.
In her free time Rachel enjoys walking, anything outdoors, creating new recipes and above all, spending time with her family, friends and dog, Charlotte .
